Why can't this pregnancy even be "normal"?

19 week cartoon
19 week cartoon!

Yesterday I saw Dr. C (PCP) there isn't really too much to report on.
Asked a few question about my lungs
*does advair have a generic version? - No it doesn't
*would there be any benefit to having the bad portion of my lung remove? - We are going to look more into this option once Sophie is born.

I have started to try and make my own pros and cons list
Pros
*potentially be able to run around with the girls
*walk the girls to the park
*possibly be able to get off my meds
*Might be able to take the stairs
*be able to do day to day things without getting winded. Things such as laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping

Cons
*it is a major surgery

So I saw Dr. G (High risk OB)
*the blood clot that they saw last time is gone
*Sophie is still a girl

It turns out that I do indeed have gestational diabetes. I need to watch to hear back about the class they want me to attend, learn how to do the finger pokes what to watch out for when I eat

We got some good pictures of Sophie. I will scan them tomorrow and then fix them here.

I am almost done with Sophie's bedroom stuff. I still need to make the bed skirt and the bumper pad and I will be done. We have a lot to do in her room or we would be getting it put together.

Here are some pictures of her room stuff that I am making

Sorry for the delay in my post

Since I forgot, well not forgot didn’t have time for, here is the week 17 cartoon.
week 17

So last week, Monday I think, we got the results of my 3 hour Glucose test from Dr. C (PCP) and the results are that my levels are high. However they are not going to consider it a fail they are really thinking that it is because of the prednisone. Since they are not going to consider this a fail that means that I will need to take the test again at 26-29 weeks. Dr. C (PCP) office was going to fax the results over to Dr. G (High Risk OB) we are going to see what Dr. G thinks and go from there.

Here is Week 18 cartoon
week 18

I have really started to feel baby Sophie moving around more and more. Mostly when I am sitting just right but I am still feeling her.

Thought that it might be time for me to post some more pictures of the kids.
